i have looked at the help for the font library but it is not good. It doesnt really show me how to use it. More importantly, it doesnt tell me wat files to import!! if anyone has used this b4 i would be very thankful if they could tell me wat to do to get it up and running jake

You need to compile the libs yourself (there should be a project somewhere in the zip file or whatever you downloaded). Make sure you have installed the freetype2 lib and link with that when you build the ftgl libs. Then to use it in your own programs you need to link with the ftgl lib and the freetype lib and include the FTGL*Font.h files that you want to use (bitmap, texture, etc). The docs are pretty useless so if you have any more questions just ask.

:D thx alot man. Ill try and go compile those lib files. Why do they do that anyways? wats the point of making me compile it all when they could just compile it for me and give me the lib and the header files... seems pretty stupid to me but i guess there has to be some reason they do it like that.

thx again jake
