Hey, I find the MSDN very annoying because it contains a million things I will never need in my life, but just can´t rid of those things. This is why I created a folder and put every .chm help file I need in there. Last thing to do is create a COL file that contains an index with all the files I need, but I couldn´t find a tool / program that could help me with that task. Because the hh.dat and MSDN000.COL are MASSIVE I can´t remove all the file I don´t need manually. Any help greatly apreciated ! thanks

Now that I played around with M$ help workshop a bit, I´m pretty sure that it´s not possible with that program... Anybody has some experiance with that ?
You can get rid of unwanted parts of your MSDN help collection, by creating/selecting a special filter. Look in the search tab under "Filtered by".
Thanks for that hint. The problem is that the items i removed are still in the index. They are just grayed out. I personally can´t see why M$ did that ...
