Hi does anyone know much about, or where I can get my hands on a good howto to create a .exe installer?? Basically I have a small game in a directory called "Game" Inside the Game directory there is a game.exe and a few required .dll's There is a sub folder called "data" containing images and text files. The dlls are mostly SDL stuff. I want to figure out how to create an installer that will check for the presence of the dll's on the target system, and if they are there just install the game.exe and data folder in a particular location, otherwise install the dll's and the game.exe + data folder. Any thoughts/ideas? I was looking at Null softs nis compiler, but I don't know anything about nis files, and am trying to figure it out. Cheers
