Is SmartDraw any good?

I'm looking for a program I can use to design UML diagrams. My school has SmartDraw installed on all their computers, and I've messed around with it a bit. It seems to have good support for UML, and a lot of other types of diagrams. But is it really the best? I mean, since it supports so many other types of charts and diagrams, surely it can't have a full implementation of or support for UML. So basically what I'm asking is what program do you guys recommend for UML? Thanks in advance!

Nobody knows? Is UML not popular anymore?
I don't know what UML stands for - but I have used SmartDraw.

It is an amazing program for drawing diagrams if you don't feel like doing them by hand (which is quicker) or simply can't, possibly due to a large team.

Go with paper-and-pencil diagrams.
If you have a small group of people, use something basic like Microsoft Word.
For complex, dynamic projects where changes are a daily occurrence, SmartDraw is great (if you want to pay for it) - it's extremely versatile.
-------------Some hate God for putting thorns on roses, others praise God for putting roses on thorns.
UML = unified modeling language ( or something like that )
