Hi I'm new here and was wondering where the best tutorial was.

Cone3d

Cone3D and the documentation on the SDL Website are probably your best bet, although I'm sure there are others around.

um, a tutorial on what?
I'd recommend against using the Cone3D tutorials. They're just horribly writin and their solutions are just terrible. I'd recommend taking a look at Aaron's or maybe even my introductory ones. Drew has a nice one, I don't know where it is though.

I started off with the Cone3D tutorials, they worked perfectly for me. As long as you have the drive to learn it, Cone3D is the best presentation of it. It walks you through the ideas of SDL step by step, and teaches you relevant stuff to what you want to do (game programming).
Sure is a big 'ol world.

I think like Rob, that Aarons tutorials is among the bests on the web.
