Hi, I'm working on a tiling engine. I have two multi dimensional arrays which are global. One is called back the other is called level. Level contains enough elements to corrospond to the total level size. Back is a smaller array which is equal to the number of tiles that fit on screen + 2. The size of the array is currently hard coded, but now I want to be able to read it in from a file, so that I can load a level with 32tilesx32 tiles on one occasion and then on another occasion load 10x10 without having to re-compile. Is it possilbe to do this with ordinary arrays or does it need to be dynamic?? If so I was looking for a dynamic multidemsional array in the STD library, but have yet to find anything. Can anyone point me in the right direction?? Cheers
