I have a placement test to take in a few months and I really need to brush up on my math skills. I will need to know mostly algebra and basic calc. Is there any online sites/tutorials that anybody could recommend? If you could offer any tips/pointers I would be thankful.

I know of a site called purple math. Here

Other than that, all I can recommend are books. In particular, the Demystified series. I own the volumes on College Algebra, Trig, and Calc. I've taken the corresponding math classes, using these books as secondary references. They helped a lot. If you work through the examples from cover to cover, you should be prepared for any kind of test involving math.
