Hi, can anyone working at ATI give a rough date? im so eagar to get working with this extension i might actually have a heart-attack. AFAIK, NVidia drivers already have this, im on ATI cat 5.3 on a Radeon9500 Pro, i hope my card can handle it... Cheers -Danu

afaik NV drivers have a beta, it isnt complete and has numerous issues, although it is kinda workable.

ATIs will be out 'when its done', however it does exist in a beta form in a driver so expect it 'soon' (I was hoping March, however their driver pipeline is longer than i thought i guess so hopefully April).

The R300 series will be able to handle this extension with no worries (so 9500/9600 are the lowest cards which will support it), R200 support might happen but I'd expect it to be limited in someway.
sweet, thanks phantom, congrats on Moderator btw.
