[web] Is it possible for a java applet to access the html form objects on a page?
Hi, I as wondering if you have loaded a java applet onto a webpage, is it possible to get the applet to read any values from the input objects on the page? and would it be possible to change the values of those input objects aswell?
Thankyou.
Yes it's possible... check for example this page:

Now to do that, if I remember correctly, you need to use some specific java classes that was provided with the old Nestcape 4 and add some tags in your html as well... I don't remember all the details. But the quick answer is yes.
Anyhow be aware that applet are quiet unstable, and do not work well, or the same on all browsers.
