So, my research group is doing a user study of our new tool, which is called Prospector. Right now, we really, really, really need programmers to test it. If you have experience programming in Java, (important) have used the Eclipse IDE, then email me to help us out. Participants will run through a tutorial on using Prospector and then complete 4 programming tasks in Java. Completing the study will take no longer than 2½ hours. You can do the study on your own computer at any time and place that’s convenient for you. As a thank you, participants will receive a gift certificate worth $20. <- by mail, I guess... We need to have the results by Friday, April 8. Send mail to me or post here or PM me or something. Thanks a lot!

My email is in my profile. The tool is an extension to content assist. And no, I didn't; thanks, I will. The gift certificate is anywhere you want, so long I can get a reciept for the place; eg, amazon is a highly likely place :)

There isn't a website yet, I haven't gotten around to making it. Just because you email me, doesn't mean you have to do it :)

I'm torn whether or not I should allow this type of post... I suppose since it's actually Java-related and you're not one of those nephews of recently deposed ministers in Africa, I'll allow it.
