hi i assign for each triangle in my world a lightmap with glBind(...). so i have to change the texturestate for each triangle. now, i would like to pack triangles in displaylists, but how i do handle this with the lightmaps? can i assign textures in displaylists? thx

That is ridiculously inefficient. Check this out for packing lightmaps into larger textures.

EDIT: As for your question, you can call glBindTexture inside display lists.

packing lightmaps in one large texture might be a good idea. i'll try out this method.
