Directsound listener question

Hi, I am probably going to use the directsound listener class, to play sounds in my 3d environment. But I was just curious, say I have a soundbuffer played at position (-100,0,0) and then the same soundBuffer is called again to be played at position (100,0,0), will I get the sound sounding as if it came from those two positions, eg i would hear the sound from both speakers, if i was facing the positive yAxis? Thanks
