Okay, so I have an Applet, and I create a Panel called myPanel. If I want to PAINT an image onto myPanel using the drawImage method, how can I do this? I tried: g.drawImage(myImage, 0, 0, myPanel); Obviously this doesn't work.

That is how it works. There must be something with your code. You should show your painting code and your image loading code.

by which I presume you mean the following :

drawImage(Image img,int x,int y,ImageObserver observer)

where are you getting the graphics object from ?? have you subclassed JPanel , and in the paint method of the subclass called the above with the Graphics object passed in to the method ? is the image actually finished loading ? More context is neccessary before you can get any help on this :)

D.
