I've been working on my full 3d engine since 2000, and now it's an almost complete one which has lots of features (+documentation also) and can make up an entire game (it has extensive support for sound, input/output and network), any way, currently it's named PowerX, but I'm going to refine it and I intend to give it a new name. What do you suggest for it?

Gerk?
Heck, call it whatever you like man (including gerk)
Chances are that the reason you're giving such a vague description of what exactly you're after is because you don't really know (or care?)
All you want really is a flashy logo right? & they're a dime a dozen (took me a couple of mins)

Well on a more serious note - I don't know about everyone else, but as I'm working on something I just tend to get a "feel" for a name by the way it acts
Pick some kind of theme that you feel encompasses it & what it does & keep it consistant
But if you don't get a feel for a word - just make one up?
Slap on a pretty logo & away you go. right?
Surely this doesn't warrent a thread?
Oh wait maybe I'm just making this petite because it's 5am & I still ain't slept yet
Damnit erm.. well @ least this posting made as much specific sense as the question :P
I better sleep..

I usually just find a stupid name via some sort of a word generator on the net. I don't really care about the name, I just want it to be short, something like 4 letters, because I'm going to write it again and again ;-), and be pronounce-able in most languages :-P

Like Ogre, Cube, Neo and Nebula. Most of us know what a person is talking about when he/she mentions these, so the name shouldn't matter too much as long as your engine is something out of the ordinary.

oh you were all great, thanks, specially you propuke, your logo was fabulous, I should work on something similar,
and also I'll release it soon, with full feature list and comprehensive documentation, as you'd said, it surely will have something out of ordinary.
