A while ago I tried to make pong and it wasnt working and it frustrated me to the point where I stopped trying for about a month. Now that I'm starting fresh, I have a question. When your moving a sprite on screen, would you move the picture itself? The rectangle? Or both? I had alotta problems with this and making it work with SDL_Event...

Well, all you would do is change the data representing the sprite's position. At the rendering phase, the sprite can be rendered directly to an already transformed position.
