Hey, thought I might share our final project for school since it's quite cool! In short; we have built a lego robot that is controllable from your cell phone using Bluetooth - no more IR! Features a Java app on the cell phone communicating via Bluetooth with a C++ app on a PalmOS PDA (attached to the robot) which in turn communicates via IR to the Lego Mindstorms RCX microcontroller. We also stream wireless live camera feed from the robot to another server app. I did the PalmOS C++ server programming. Full source code (client + server + RCX scripts), heaps of movies and pictures and more available at http://mobilerobotics.sf.net [edit] be sure to check out the cool pneumatics [/edit] [Edited by - Saandman on May 23, 2005 9:42:19 AM]
