11series Multimedia Group We are currently looking to recruit Indy developers for an innovative game called Adventures In Purgatory. Currently Adventures in Purgatory will be using the Torque SDK to develop a small gameplay demo for download. What we hope to accomplish by doing this is give the public a taste of what we are striving for, and create a demand for our game. Once there is a demand, the supply can therefore become larger, and we can continue the further development of our game. This will be the first known attempt at a film noir game, and we believe it will be extremely well recieved by the public. Currently we have scheduled this demo for completion within 5 months of starting development. Why do we feel that we can finish this in such a short time span? Careful planning, and we keep a very grounded look at what we can and can't accomplish. A common pitfall in indi game design is aiming too high, and we have taken this into careful consideration when designing this game. We are currently looking for artists, and scripters. Space on the team is limited, so apply soon to paul_fassett@hotmail.com. At this time we are in the post production phase and are far ahead of schedual, already we have started populating scenes with assets and our player model is being finished up as we speak. We are already 1/4 of the way done in our first milestone, which will be, when completed, a massive step towards completing the demo. can you post any screens of completed art or renders? it sounds like a very interesting concept. Are you planning on rendering the game in a sapia/grey tone?

Here are some screens so far. We just made it out of the design process and are starting on the development process starting with our first milestone. So we are just starting out on the 3d and game enviroment changes.

Here are the concepts we are going off from the comic I created. I want to actually go with a black and white heavy on the spot black look like the game was hand inked with hints of bright color in places like the neon signs of taverns.

The resulting alpha screenshots, these screens still need textures, the ones you see are place holders, the final textures will be more hand drawn looking:
