problem with skeleton and mesh

i have model have skeleton and mesh, i want control mesh by rotate transformation matrix of mesh. but when i attach a bone to mesh then i can not control this mesh, otherwise then i can control it. can control mesh by rotate transformation matrix when this mesh to attach to bone? can anybody help me? thanks alot
