For my latest project I have to make some quite ugly non-linear optimization algorithm. There is a lot of vector cross-products and partial derivatives. Can not do it numerically - it's for cell phone, so performance is critical. I want to try some symbolic calculation system - I've checked Axiom and Maxima and liked Axiom more. The problem is, WinTexMacs can not output even intermediate result of calculations, it's too big for it. Axiom in console is working, but it's not very useful. I tried to install emacs to pulg Axiom into it, but windows version of Emacs from SF is not installing :( Any advice, where to get binary Emacs for windows, and how to set up it with Axiom ? Any other advice is welcome too.
