URGENT! Math Problem help needed for final!

I need to write this complex number in rectangular form: z = 8(cos p/6 + i sin p/6) Do I just distribute the 8 into the real and imaginary terms? Like... z = mag ( real + imaginary) mag*real + mag*imaginary? Thanks

Multiplication of two complex numbers z1 and z2 is defined as:
z1z2 = (x1,y1)(x2,y2) = (x1x2-y1y2, x1y2+x2y1)


Writing 8 as the complex number z2 = (8,0i) and the original number z1=(cos p/6, sin p/6) we get:
(8,0)(cos p/6,sin p/6) = (8cos p/6-0sin p/6, 8sin p/6+cos p/6*0) =(8 cos p/6, 8 sin p/6 )


So eventually it turns out right; you could have just distributed the 8. Greetz,
