[.net] Common Language Runtime Error

Recommended Posts

Hello, Recently I was trying out some of the SDL.Net examples, and I stumbled across a strange error:
Quote:
Common Language Runtime Debugging Services Application has generated an exception that could not be handled. Process ID=0x63ec28(-372867), Thread ID=0x200031 (-385883). Click Ok to terminate the application. Click Cancel to debug the application.
The problem is that it doesn't let me debug, and it doesn't even doing this with all the programs. Some of them work, the rest don't. It also has came up when trying to run a pong clone made in C# and MDX, but not in the C# program I made using MDX. What can be causing this? EDIT: I'm using Windows 98 and .NET Framework 2.0. Sorry for the bump but does anybody have a clue on how to solve this? I've tried reinstalling .NET 2.0, repairing .NET 2.0, and installing .NET 1.1. So far, nothing has worked. I even tried compiling the source myself and it still comes up with that error. Any help?

Try handling the exception on your entry method, and getting the call stack from the exception (ex.stacktrace) - that might give you a clue as to where the issue is.

I'd say however that it's likely related to win9x.
