The book is very good for understanding directX concepts.
It shows function definitions,examples,have a math tutorial at begining,etc

Shortly nice one.

I bought Introduction to 3D Game Programming with DirectX 9 about two months ago and still haven't gotten around to reading through it completely. I haven't even gotten around to doing the initialization examples. I've read the first part (Math Prerequisites) and have to say it was the best, most concise, explaination on the math required behind DirectX that I have ever read.
