OpenGL View Volume

Hey, I was wondering how i can implement view volume for camera, can anyone help me out? I do not want to use openGL or directX, its all from scratch in java...thanks alot

If you mean a frustum, you can construct it with trig or by extracting the planes from a combined modelview/projection matrix. For culling, there are various techniques for different bounding volumes - spheres, AABBs, OBBs, capsules, cylinders, ellipsoids, etc. Usually a hierarchical structure is used to accelerate culling, and there are also other shortcuts and optimizations that can be employed. The topic is pretty well documented online, so a google search should turn up plenty of info.
