Hi all . I am making simple game and having render my aircraft in 3rd person camera. how i can perform collision Detection . i am very new to game programming and also i tried to seacrh on google and gamedev.net but i didn't get anything which is good for me. My game is having only two objects Aircraft and Pipe through which it (air craft) travesl how can i perform collision between these two object.

Collision detection is a pretty big subject, and there is certainly a lot of information available on it. Try this.

as moe has said, collision detection is a really huge topic and can take a lot of time to get mastered on, but you can use some shortcuts to make your way through collision detection and collision response, for instance use the dot product or ray method, bounding volumes can be helpful also, and libraries like tokamak and coldet can help you a lot;
