Hi, I have implemented a version of SCG(scale conjugate gradient) in C++ and I would like to test it against (reproduce) the results produced by the scg function in netlab toolbox for matlab. I am interestd in some polynomials that can be combined to produce interesting curved surfaces in 2D (so I can visualise it in matlab and spot the local optimas visually) and test it with both my code and netlab codes. The reason I want polynomials is that so I can test it quickly and easily before using it on real data. Can anyone help me? Possibly pointing me to some resource that have this sort of information. thanks
