I've been working with x86 assembly for quite some time, and recently I've been learning about the extensions in x86-64. The problem is that I don't know HOW to compile the code (usually I used inline assembly functions, before, or just worked with dissassembly). VC++ doesn't support it inline, MASM doesn't seem to support anything beyond the 686 series. So what does support it?

You could look at the gcc compiler. I've heard the linux flavor will compile x86-64 assembler. The windows version should too..
