What program do you people use to capture screenshots? I have tried out some free ones but they either are too much for what I want, or they just capture horrible quality screens.

no software needed, simply hold your ctrl + scprint button on your keyboard for the entire scren, hole ctrl + alt + scprint to print the selected window. That will copy it to your clipboard, then open paint or your favorite photo editor and paste it. :)
I'm pretty sure the Print Screen button works without hitting control. I would paste into the paint program that comes with Windows. It will definitely work whereas pasting into other imaging programs may not always work. I've seen it not work - really.

there are a ton of different types of keyboard out there, with differnt keys. On my laptop I have to hit the "fn" to do it, everyone's Keyboard is differnt but I have noticed most of them require "ctrl"
Yea, but then you have to pause the game, go into paint save, etc etc
Is there a way you can take a ton of pics and just have them waiting for you when you're done the game??
well then your looking into software for that, just do this open paint. play game - print screen - atl + tab - open paint - ctrl + v - save - new document and do it all over again. If you want a quick series of print screens that will involve more then just a keyboard, making a program to do that wouldnt be hard at all.
True, I was just curious how everyone did it.
Or if anyone already has made a program to do what I need. =)
I guess I'll look into it.
Is it true that DevIL has a screen capture ability??
am i the only one who thinks that this post was pointless

I've used a lot of keyboards, and I've never needed to press ctrl.

Some software:
FRAPS Captures both video & stills
ClipTray A utility that sits in your system tray and maintains a history of everything you put on the Windows clipboard (like PrtScn screenshots) You can then go back and pick & choose.
Google search for game screenshot utility

Or, like me, you could just write your own. Took me about 5 minutes in C#.

No, but yours sure was.
Hey thanks for that link to FRAPS. Looks useful! Especially for the movies part!
