MAXs uvw format description

I use MAX`s "render to texture" to render lightmaps, but after exporting to X file (with DIrectX SDK exporter) I loose lightmap UV coordinates (exporter use just diffuse). After that only simple solution was to save uvw coordinates from MAX (after rendering to texture) but I can not figure out file format of "uvw". Any link/tut/book about this? P.S. Is there any idea for doing lightmap in another way? Thanks, Pasalic Zaharije
