Hello, I have built a simple spring model using the well known formulas. The spring is placed on the ground and the body falls on to it, with damping the body stands still on the spring for a while. After then, the body starts moving again in other words diverges from its stable position and soon starts jumps. (I use a trapezoid integrator) Is this an expected limitation? Do I need to force the body to sleep or is there a nicer solution to this problem ? Thanks. MDE.
