Is anybody here able to port existing engine to Gamecube? Or develop new one based on existing one?

The Gamecube SDK is not available to the public, so you would have to ask a studio which is licensed to develop for the GC and has a development kit. I don't know about the current status of the homebrew GC dev scene, but you could look at it.

The devkitPro package comes with devkitPPC and libogc for Gamecube programming. I use devkit for the DS so I haven't tried it myself, but I think that's a good place to start.
gcdev.com is a good community for GC development. The only issue is it's so small. Im not a programmer :) That's why Im looking for programmer for GC and GBA or DS. Maybe somebody already have some development going on!?
Of cause Im talking about homebrew stuff. Once prototype is done, then I'll look for publisher who already licensed by Nintendo.

I have GC, GBA and DS developer status...what are you looking for?
Im looking for a coder to port/create 3D engine for GC, GBA(DS). We are working at this moment on engine for upcoming projects and it for x86 platform (it uses DirectX 9). Once it will be completed, it would be nice to port it. And take full advantage from hardware it will run on. There is other variations on this subject. If you would like to, please contact me via e-mail and we will see how we can work things out.

is this a commercial project?
I hate that you can;t edit ...sorry pressed reply as I was thinking

is this a commerical project, and if so, what payment is there? I'll drop you a quick email, but would like to know what your doing. The GC does not really support a hobby market, and if you're intending to port an engine to the GC or DS, I assume there is a game...now thats great, but there's a whole load of quality threasholds you need to reach before any publisher will consider paying for duplication, and the kind of commitment requires time and time needs to be paid for.

Have you considered this?
Ah, I see the question was too hard for you, judging by the lack of response on here at to my email.

ah well
