Hi with a c++ windows combobox object, When I click on the list to come down, it doesn't shower any scrollbars next to the list, if its overflowing the boundary, so u have to drag the mouse down to see the other objects. Any idea on what the settings are to get the vertical scrollbar? Thanks

This sounds weird. How are you creating the combobox? Does setting the CBS_DISABLENOSCROLL style at creation have any effect on the control?

Can you post the code you use to create the combobox? If it's part of a dialog resource, perhaps post a list of the styles that are set on the box?

here:

HWND cmbStart = CreateWindow("COMBOBOX", 0, CBS_DROPDOWNLIST|WS_CHILD|WS_VISIBLE, 40, 2, 120, 100 ,hwnd, (HMENU)"", hInstance, 0);
