How would you render this texture to a sword?

How would you bind and image like this onto a sword? Jake PS. Texture was taken from a WoW sword. PSS. I was wondering how cause they use this and I wanted to use there textures because theres no way in hell I could make professional looking textures like this. Well I've never played WoW, but it looks like they use the bottom half of the image twice on both sides of the sword reflected down the middle and the top half is probably "rolled" around the handle.

you will have a VERY hard time rendering that to one of your models simply because you dont have the UV texture coordinates. you could take your model and that texture into a 3d modelling package like maya or 3d studio and adjust the coordinates in there to your liking.
