UV Atlas and Lightmaps

I'm to write a lightmaps generator, i'm using the d3dx uv atlas to generate uv atlas for the texture coordinates to use it for the lightmap texture, but i've problem on mapping between the generated texture coordinates and the coordinates of the texels into the texture map it is some artifacts at the edges of each triangle. Do any one have any idea about correct mapping betwen texture coordinates and the coordinates on a texture map?? thanks
