I'm currently writing an animation plugin for my engine. I'm using rsn.gamedev.net code to understand the concepts behind writing the plugin. I completely understand how to do skeletal animation, but i'm facing a unique problem. I'm reading the translation and rotation key matrices from a milkshape ascii file. The example on rsn.gamedev.net provides the data in binary ms3d file format. Has someone experienced the data difference in a binary ms3d file and an ms3d ascii file ? When i read both the files, there is a difference in data stored.

u should take a look at the MS3D plugin SDK, there is a MS3D ASCII viewer (with source code) inside, just follow the codes & u will understand the ASCII format.
