absolute coordinates

Hello, after calling "glLoadIdentity()" and performing several iterations of "translate - rotate - draw something", I'd like to get the world coordinates of the resulting 3D-point; i.e. is there anything like "getCurrentCoordinates(...)"? Thanx.
