erm need sum help i wanna make mods to a game called battlefield 1942 or battlefield 2 anyone know what progams are best for writing it and for putting in all the graphics such as weapons peoples faces and many other things like tanks thanx in advance leonheart

MS Paint is probably the best bet. Just save over the relevent files that end in .dll with the .bmp files paint finshes with.

It might be okay to be annoyed and say that someone is being stupid, but MAKING them do something stupid is really mean.

Don't give crap advice. Not even as a joke in this particular forum. See the sticky thread here for last time the staff got mad at people for this.

I believe this page will be of interest to you. I don't own a copy of the game and don't know anyone who has tried to mod it, so I can't really offer any tips, but those tools should be what you're looking for, and there appear to be some tutorials there as well. Hope that helps you, good luck.

Well, the first step should ALWAYS be google damn it. Then if you actually end up here after expending some searching you should actually ask more detailed questions. Read the FAQ for more information on how to do it.
