Hey guys, here's a simple one... I'm using Microsoft Visual C++ .net, and I'd like to move some of my game code into a DLL. But I don't know how to do that! How do I turn some of my code into a DLL? Thanks in advance for the help! [smile]

If you want to do that, all you have to do is make a new projerct, Win32 DLL (can't remember exact name). For project settings, make sure you choose 'export symbols'. Now you will have 4 files, stdafx.h, stdafx.cpp, yourdllfile.h, yourdllfile.cpp. The way it works is that you will place your implementations for your code in the yourdllfile.cpp. However, the are a few things you will have to abide by if you want to export it. The template code that MSVC makes will guide you to do that. Just follow their examples, and you will have a working .dll in no time [wink] If you run into any troubles feel free to ask for clarifications.

Or you could just read my journal entries on the topic and you will gain a better understanding of how to do it cleanly.
