Annoying listview problem.

You could use the LVM_SETITEMSTATE message with the LVIS_CUT style; but that's the closest you could get to having the items appear "disabled" without subclassing the Listview. None of the other listview item states would be suitable, I'm guessing (drophilighted, selected, focused...)

You could also intercept the WM_NOTIFY messages when there's a button click on a Listview item, and then "do nothing"... unselect the item that was clicked, or something.
