I’m trying to include a DirectX viewing portion into an application. I want to render an .X file in both a stand-alone view and a walk threw view. I would like to include third party mesh files as well (ie. I would like to render multiple mesh files simultaneously). I have been playing around with the DirectX samples that are included with the 9.0 SDK. Specifically the samples/C++/Direct3D/: • EffectParam • SkinnedMesh • Emptyproject I seems like everything I need is included in these; but I don’t need all the items. I simply need to render multiple mesh files simultaneously. Also, I’m have a hell of a time simply trying to understand the samples and how they work. I would like to take the pieces that I need from each of the samples and place them in the emptyproject. I would like someone to meet me in person, and walk me through these samples and help me adapt them for my purposes. I can pay. If anybody is in, or around, the San Diego area and available for consulting I would be greatly appreciated. You can contact me at jtfaulk AT eudoramail.com. Thank you, J
