Are you ok?

Anyways, are you talking about deriving a child class from a parent class? Of course you can in C++ and other languages as well.

class ParentClass{};

class ChildClass : public ParentClass{};

#include <iostream>
using namespace std;

class A
{
A(){}
virtual ~A(){}

virtual void overrideMe()
{
cout << "A" << endl;
}
};

class B : public A
{
B(){}
virtual ~B(){}

virtual void overrideMe()
{
cout << "B" << endl;
}
};

int main(int argc, char ** argv)
{
A().overrideMe();
B().overrideMe();

return 0;
}
