OpenGL Vertex Buffer Objects and Multitexturing together in OpenGL

hi, simple question really.. i can render simple textured polys using vertex buffer objects, and seperate to that i can also render multitextured polygons in immediate mode (glBegin() / glEnd() style) is there a way i can render multitextured polygons using vertex buffer objects tho, because i cant see any way to combine the functionality of these two extensions? thanks in advance, Hybrid

You have to enable the respective texture streams for each of the texture units that you are using. So, for example:

glClientActiveTexture( GL_TEXTURE0 + i );
glEnable( GL_TEXTURE_COORD_ARRAY );
glTexCoordPointer( <blah> );
