The T Buffer is really only 3dfx''s version of an accumulation buffer.
It''s used for such effects as motion blur, depth of field, full screen anti aliasing et cetera.

Check out www.3dfx.com for whitepapers.

actually the T-Buffer is a more advanced stencil buffer. the voodoo1/2/3 didn''t have a stencil buffer, so 3dfx thought they should make up by making an awesome stencil buffer in the voodoo5.
im into those soft reflections and if anyone has any info on adding this ever cool effect into my openGL program i would like to know too.
and i downloaded the white paper and it just shows what the T-Buffer can do, not how to use it.
