Hi, The Indie Game Club is dedicated to building a stronger indie game development community in Chicago. We are having a Chicago Indie Game Dev Extravaganza. The purpose of this event is to meet other like-minded Indie Game Developers in the Chicago area. This is the perfect chance for students, veterans, and aspiring game-developers to meet up and learn the ins and outs of creating your own successful indie game/business. We have invited and confirmed the presence of leading indie game developers in the industry. Come meet the leading indie game developers from around the nation including James C. Smith (Reflexive Arcade), Mike Boeh (Retro64) and the designer of the hit web game Proximity. Here are the details of the event... Date: Tuesday, June 21st, 2005 Time: 7:30 PM Location: Gameworks (at the Streets of Woodfield location) http://www.gameworks.com/locations/01_mainpages/loc_chicago.html Itinerary: We will meet up at the bar location of Gameworks and shoot the breeze for an hour. Then we'll head off to the Starbucks next door at 8:30 PM and show off current game demos. Please RSVP as I need to ensure that we have enough space at Gameworks to seat everyone. Price: FREE + the cost of any drinks you decide to buy yourself Prizes: There will be prizes given away during the extravaganza. You have to be present to win. Later, Curiosoft
