OpenGL Best light weight 3D format!

Hi all what is the best light 3D format for object loding in Opengl. suppose i want to load different 3D objects like soldirs, tanks etc... in RTS game. what 3D format should i use (3D Studio, Maya, MD2,MD3 etc...) thanks in advance

I'm using Milkshape ASCII. It's text file, os easy to use and read.
It may contain a model about 8192 vertexes with textures coordinates and bone animation too.
