how do I clear the backbuffer ??

Recommended Posts

Hi. I'm using Direct-x to create a short clip and every frame I take from the backbuffer and insert it as a frame in an avi file, the problem is that the first frame is always filled with garbage so I get the first frame not so cleared, How do I clear the backbuffer ??

In C++ you'd do something like this:
m_pd3dDevice->Clear( 0, NULL, D3DCLEAR_TARGET, 0x00000000, 1.0f, 0 );
