Hi all, first I must say this is an excellent forum. I know C++ and I wish to ask a few questions: 1. I heard the PS3 support C++. Is that true? 2. Can I start game programming on platform other than windows ? Would that be harder ? Thanks

You can write games for the PS3 in any language as long as you make or aquire a PS3 compiler for the language and I'm sure there will be a PS3 C++ compiler. However you can't develop for the PS3 unless you have the PS3 SDK and generally the only way to get one of those is to be a recognised development company with several (decent) titles out.

You can start game programming on any platform you choose, whether it would be harder or easier that windows depends upon many factors (including what you mean by harder).
