How do you take your C++ code (if you can at all) and make it usable on Gamecube or PS2? If you cannot use C++ to make games for these systems then how do you?

The short answer is "they both use C/C++ and are capable of using other compiled languages." Sony and Nintendo have partnerships/agreements with compiler companies (specifically Metrowerks and SN Systems) for tools and compilers. The basic C/C++ compilers on both platforms are custom derivatives of the GCC (Gnu C) compiler.

There is a decent sized Linux/PS2 development community. I'll try to dig up more specifics and post later.
