DBP Terrain

My brother and I are attempting to program a 3drd person shooter esque game useing dark basic pro. However we've hit a little snag, We're using .bmp images to generate a terain and also calculate object Y position. The position bit works fine but the terrain isn't visible? Any ideas? Even if its a total change in the way that we calculate y and generate terrain.

How does the terrain get generated? Do you make display lists? Do you create triangles? How does darkbasic handle them? Maybe you can show some sourcecode?

I'm affraid that we need more information before we can help you. The fact that you don't see any terrain can be ánything. Your graphics card, the textures, the init of directx/opengl, incorrect rendering, incorrect geometry, etc.
