Quick question about screen coordinates
If I want to normalize my screen coordinates in directx should I use the device back-buffer width/height or the device window client rectangle width/height?
The backbuffer is the "screen" that you render to so you should use its size. The exception to that is if you've allocated a larger backbuffer than needed and use a subrect that matches the window, in which case use the subrect size.
