Imagine a world-conquest game with nuclear missiles, you defeat the other countries by nuking them into non-existance. Or a game where you enter another country and kill all men of fighting age. When the game ends, what should it say as an epilogue to this? Ie. You Won! But you have created a nuclear wasteland, much of your population are slowly falling victim to radiation poisoning, and your scientists think that there may be a nuclear winter. Rome. You beat the heathens down, but have started a wave of fear in the surrounding region, nearby countries are building up their armies out of fear that you may invade, and there are covert resistance groups in the country you conquered. Now, could we make a 'story extrapolation engine' that notes what the player has done and spouts plausible consequences to their bad actions.
